We, two sisters-in-law, traveled through beautiful Rajasthan for three weeks with a private driver. The trip was completely customized by Heart of India Travel, and it was a true adventure!
We, two sisters-in-law, traveled through beautiful Rajasthan for three weeks with a private driver. The trip was completely customized by Heart of India Travel, and it was a true adventure!
Driving in India is an experience in itself: you hear honking everywhere, but there’s a kind of order and mutual respect on the road. Not a single accident or scratch, which is remarkable in itself!
To be fair, the distances can be long. But what you get in return is unparalleled. Every drive took us to an impressive new place. Palaces, temples, forts, all equally beautiful, each with its own style, history, and character. You won’t find such architectural diversity anywhere else in Europe!
The hotels were fantastic: full of charm, steeped in Indian culture, and often with a beautiful pool for relaxing. The safaris were also a highlight of the trip. You have to get up early for them, but it’s more than worth it: we saw a tiger cross the road right in front of our car, a black bear, crocodiles, and even a leopard just ten meters away. Incredible!
India isn’t the cleanest country, it must be said. But it’s absolutely worth it; what a fascinating destination. A big thank you to Nicole, who works directly with local hotels in India and organizes trips with a private driver. Thanks to these direct partnerships, the prices are very competitive.
