During this period, the parks are accessible and we can let you enjoy the beautiful nature and wildlife that India has to offer. Outside of these months, the parks may be closed or have limited access, which may affect the planned activities and experiences during your trip.

Travel schedule

Day 1 Depart from your home destination airport – Delhi airport

Today you’ll begin your adventure with a flight from your home airport to Delhi, the vibrant capital of India.

Day 2 Delhi airport – Delhi

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be picked up by an English-speaking driver and taken to your charming 3* guesthouse. After a short rest, discover old Delhi by rickshaw through the alleys of Chandni Chowk. Visit the Jama Masjid, the capital’s largest mosque, and explore Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, a beautiful Sikh temple. After sunset, take an illuminated walk at India Gate.

Day 3 Delhi – Jaipur 270 km – 5,5 hours drive

After breakfast, drive through the scenic Aravalli range to Jaipur, stopping briefly at a charming village en route.

Jaipur, the “Pink City,” is famous for its striking pink buildings and vibrant culture. Once the capital of the kingdom of Rajasthan, this historic city is known for its impressive architecture, including the iconic Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds) and the majestic City Palace.

You will stay in a charming 3* hotel including breakfast.

The afternoon is at leisure or you can be dropped off in the old city of the Rose City and immerse yourself in the vibrant energy of the city and experience the rich culture and traditions of Jaipur. Here you can wander through the bustling markets, where the aromas of spices and the sounds of traders offering their wares create an authentic atmosphere. The bazaars are a shopper’s paradise and offer a wealth of local handicrafts, jewellery, clothing and souvenirs.

Day 4 Jaipur

Start the day with a visit to a café overlooking the Hawa Mahal, the Palace of the Winds. Then visit the City Palace, a blend of Mughal and Rajput architecture, and the Jantar Mantar, the largest astronomical observatory in the world. In the afternoon, explore the Jal Mahal, the water palace, and the imposing Amber Fort. If time permits, visit the Anokhi Museum in Amer for a fascinating look at traditional Indian textile art.

Day 5 Jaipur – Jojawar 310 km – 6 hours drive

After breakfast, depart for Jojawar, a hidden gem located in the heart of Rajasthan. This charming village offers an authentic experience of traditional Rajasthan, away from the hustle and bustle of popular tourist routes.

Stay in an atmospheric Haveli (mansion) hotel and relax by the pool.

At the end of the afternoon you will go on safari to surrounding villages where you can, among other things, attend an opium ceremony.

Day 6 Jojawar

After breakfast, take a scenic train ride between Jodhpur and Udaipur via the Kambli Ghat Pass. You will be dropped off at a small train station and take a scenic ride on a vintage train. After the ride, you will be transferred to your hotel. The afternoon is free to relax, and at the end of the day, take a guided walk through Jojawar.

Day 7 Jojawar – Jodhpur 130 km, 2,5 hours drive

Today after breakfast you will drive to Jodhpur, known as the “Blue City”.

Explore the old streets with a guide and visit the iconic Toorji ka Jhalra stepwell and the Sardar Market.

You will stay here in an attractive Haveli hotel including breakfast.

Day 8 jodhpur

After breakfast, visit the Mehrangarh Fort with its breathtaking panoramic views of the Blue City.

In the afternoon, explore the Mandor Gardens, a tranquil historical oasis with impressive tombs and beautiful gardens.

In the evening you can optionally witness a traditional music performance.

Day 9 Jodhpur – Bera 200 km – 3 hours drive

After breakfast, drive to Bera and stay in a safari lodge in the middle of the wilderness where you will experience a unique symbiosis between man and nature.

In the Bera and Jawai region you will experience a unique symbiosis between man and nature. Here you will find one of the few places where leopards live in harmony with the local population. While enjoying private safaris in Jawai, you will admire the majestic leopards that effortlessly adapt to the landscape and the daily life of the local communities. This breathtaking environment offers an unparalleled opportunity to observe these magnificent predators in their natural habitat, amidst the impressive rock formations and picturesque water reservoirs.

During your stay, lunch, dinner, breakfast and (alcoholic) drinks are included.

Relax by the pool in the afternoon. In the afternoon you will take part in your first safari.

Day 10 Bera – Narlai 60 km – 2 hours drive

Take a morning safari in Bera and then drive to Narlai, a charming village that offers an authentic experience of traditional Rajasthani life. This small village is famous for its peaceful atmosphere, rich culture and historical sites.

During the day you will head back to your hotel.

Day 11 Narlai

After an early breakfast, visit Ranakpur Jain Temple, famous for its masterpiece of architectural craftsmanship with over 1.400 intricately carved columns. Then drive to Kumbhalgarh Fort, one of the largest forts in India with imposing walls and panoramic views.

Day 12 Narlai – Udaipur 125 km – 3 hours drive

After breakfast, head towards Udaipur, the ‘City of Lakes.’ The city is famous for its romantic charm and impressive architecture.

In the afternoon there is plenty of time to visit a bustling market and the 17th century Jagdish Temple. Explore the romantic charm of the city and soak up the atmosphere.

Day 13 Udaipur

After breakfast you will visit the City Palace. This imposing palace is a mix of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture and offers panoramic views of Lake Pichola.

You continue the tour to Saheliyon Ki Bari: A garden known for its fountains, kiosks, marble elephants and landscaped gardens. It is a peaceful place to walk.

You will also visit Fateh Sagar Lake: Another picturesque lake in Udaipur, with the Nehru Garden on its banks.

At sunset, take a boat trip on Lake Pichola to admire the floating palaces Jag Niwas (Lake Palace) and Jag Mandir.

Day 14 Udaipur – Barli 270 km – 6 hours drive

After breakfast, drive to Barli. The village is known for its peaceful atmosphere and charming surroundings. You will spend the night here at Barli Fort. This imposing fort, located on a strategic hill, offers a fascinating glimpse into the rich history and architecture of the region. Built in the 15th century, the fort served as an important defense post during the time of the Rajput rulers. Relax by the pool or take a walk through the village. Enjoy dinner at the hotel.

Day 15 Barli – Ranthambore 250 km – 5 hours drive

After breakfast, head to Ranthambore National Park, famous for its spectacular wildlife and scenic landscapes. This park offers an unforgettable experience with the opportunity to see the majestic Bengal tigers and other wild animals in their natural habitat.

You will spend the night in a cozy 3* hotel.

The afternoon is at leisure. At the end of the afternoon you will be picked up from your accommodation for your first safari.

In the evening you can enjoy dinner at the hotel.

Day 16 Ranthambore – Agra 310 km – 6 hours drive

Early in the morning you will take part in a second safari.

After breakfast you drive towards Agra where you stay in a cozy guesthouse. On the way you stop in Abhaneri. This “village of happiness” is known for its Harsha Mata Temple and impressive Chand Baori step well.

At the end of the afternoon you drive to a beautiful viewpoint over the Taj Mahal.

Day 17 Agra

Early in the morning, visit the Taj Mahal, the iconic white marble mausoleum built between 1631 and 1648 by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his favorite wife. The Taj Mahal is the jewel of Islamic art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world’s heritage.

After breakfast, explore Fatehpur Sikri (City of Victory) which was built in the second half of the 16th century by Emperor Akbar and was the capital of the Mughal Empire for only about 10 years. The complex of monuments and temples, all in a uniform architectural style, includes one of the largest mosques in India, the Jama Masjid. Return to Agra in the late afternoon.

Day 18 Agra – Delhi airport 330 km – 4 hours drive

After breakfast you will visit the beautiful Agra Fort. The fort, which dates back to the 16th century, is on the UNESCO World Heritage List and has a fortress wall of no less than 2,5 kilometers long. Because of its color it is also called the ‘red fort’.

The Agra Fort, like the Taj Mahal, is located on the Yamuna River.

From behind the walls you have a view of the Taj Mahal further away. From this perspective it seems as if the Taj Mahal is in the middle of nature, because it towers so far above the busy city.

Then drive to Delhi and, depending on your flight time, you will have time to do some shopping at Khan Market, a chic shopping area with fashion boutiques, bookstores and cafes.

On this last day, you will be transferred to Delhi International Airport (Indira Gandhi International Airport) in the evening or early night. We will ensure that you arrive at the airport three hours before your scheduled return flight, so that you have enough time for check-in and security procedures.

Your return flight will likely depart in the late evening or early morning, meaning you will arrive at your home destination the next day.

Day 19 Arrival at your home destination airport

You arrive at the airport in your home country, marking the end of your unforgettable journey through India.

  • If you are planning to visit the Taj Mahal, please note that the monument is closed on Fridays. For the best experience, I recommend planning your visit on another day, preferably during sunrise. The warm morning light that falls on the marble white building creates a breathtaking view. Make sure that your overnight stay in Agra does not fall on Thursday to Friday to not miss this unique experience. Plan your travel dates and bookings carefully to make the most of your visit to this iconic landmark.
