Our Story: The Heart of India
My journey with India began unexpectedly, a spontaneous sabbatical to a country I knew little about. But what I found changed everything: warmth, resilience, color, and a deep sense of connection. Rajasthan, in particular, moved me with its timeless villages, vibrant traditions, and the kindness of its people.
Heart of India Travel was born from a desire to share this experience not just to visit India, but to truly engage with it. We design slow, immersive journeys that take you off the beaten path, where your presence supports local communities and preserves culture.
I spend most of the year in India, exploring new regions, refining each route, and choosing family-run stays and local experiences. Every journey is personal, authentic, and rooted in connection just the way travel should be.

You choose your own travel dates. We recommend taking the climate in Rajasthan into account:
- October to March: Pleasant weather, ideal for cultural trips and exploring cities.
- April and May: Very hot, but an excellent period for wildlife spotting in national parks, as animals gather around water sources.
- July to September: Monsoon season; the landscape is lush and green. Rain usually falls in short, heavy showers, so traveling is still very possible.
