February 23, day 1 Departure from your home airport – Delhi airport

Today you start your adventure with a (often evening) flight from your home airport to New Delhi, the vibrant capital of India.

February 24, day 2 Arrival at Delhi Airport

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by an English-speaking driver and taken to your charming 3* guesthouse. After a short rest, discover old Delhi by rickshaw through the alleys of Chandni Chowk. Visit the Jama Masjid, the capital’s largest mosque, and explore Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, a beautiful Sikh temple.

February 25, day 3 Delhi – Barsana, Laddu Holi 130 km – 2,5 hours drive

This morning you will leave very early to reach Barsana on time and to witness the traditional Laddu Holi, where temples and streets are filled with laddus (sweet balls) thrown to the devotees by priests and residents. February 26, day 4 Barsana Lathmar

Today after breakfast, spend the day in Barsana to attend the unique and traditional Lathmar Holi where women from Barsana playfully beat men from Nandgaon with sticks.

February 27, day 5: Barsana – Second Day of Lathmar Holi

Second day to once again experience this spectacular tradition, with even more colors, laughter, and excitement in the lively alleys of Barsana.

February 28, day 6 Nandgaon Latmar

Breakfast at the hotel after which you will attend Latmar Holi held in Nandgaon where the women from Nandgaon playfully beat the men from Barsana with sticks.

Today you will also have plenty of time to take in the colorful streets of the attractive village and visit the temple where people jovially daub each other with the colored powder.

March 1, day 7 Vrindavan

After breakfast, today you will spend the day in Vrindavan, the holy city known as the playground of Lord Krishna, is a special destination during the Holi festival. During this colorful celebration, the city transforms into a vibrant spectacle of joy and devotion. The streets of Vrindavan are flooded with colorful powders and water balloons, as locals and visitors come together to celebrate the victory of good over evil.

What makes Vrindavan so unique during Holi is the deeply rooted religious and cultural significance of the festival. The celebrations are infused with traditional music, dance and rituals that relive the divine playful adventures of Krishna and his companions. Temples are decorated and special processions are held, with the fervent devotion of the locals to Krishna palpable in every corner of the city.

March 2, day 8 Vrindavan – Delhi – Airport of your home destination

Depending on the departure time of your intercontinental flight, you will be transferred back to Delhi during the day and dropped off at Delhi Airport, from where you will then depart for your home destination.
